About & Corrections

The Haverford Record is an independent archive of matters of public concern. It gathers, in one place, what the public record already says about antisemitism at Haverford College and how the College has responded — and links every statement to its source.

Who maintains this

This site is maintained by an informal group of neighbors, parents, alumni, and community members in the area around Haverford College who are concerned about antisemitism on campus. We are not affiliated with Haverford College, with its administration, or with the plaintiffs in any lawsuit, and we do not speak for any of them. We publish under a collective name rather than individual ones for a simple reason: this is about a documented public record, not about any one person, and people who have raised these concerns have faced retaliation and social pressure. Anonymous speech on matters of public concern is a long-protected part of American civic life.

How this is sourced

Our standard is that a reader should be able to check us. Accordingly:

What this site is not. It is not legal advice. It is not a claim that any court has found the College liable — as of this writing, the Title VI discrimination claim was dismissed with prejudice and only a narrow contract claim survived. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or speaking for Haverford College, any government agency, or any litigant.

Corrections & right of response

We want this record to be accurate. Haverford College, and any individual named or referenced here, is invited to respond publicly to anything stated here. We update this record to reflect corrections, later rulings, and new public information as it becomes available, and we note where a claim has been contested or superseded.
